UnScripted - Women Who Write, Direct, and Produce Movies

Linda Andersson is a writer/director/producer and a member of the Television Academy (EMMY’S ®). 

Although she originally wrote “Nobody Parks in L.A.” as a live action sitcom pilot, Linda couldn’t resist producing the project herself as an animated show. She released the pilot, which stars Thea Gill (QUEER AS FOLK) in 2022. Also, in 2022, Linda created and produced "Snowbirds", a female led audio drama starring Denise Warner-Gregory and Gina Glass.

As a writer, she has sold several projects, from which the majority have been produced while some are currently in development.
“This is Our Christmas” (2018) Rom-Com MOW which premiered on the Uptv! Network), with Five Arts Films, starring Margaret O’Brien and Ronn Moss. Now distributed by SP Releasing on DVD. In 2021, the film was re-released and won a Family Film Award for Best Television Movie.

As a director, Linda collaborated with TV writer, Joseph Dougherty (“Pretty Little Liars”) in 2012 by directing one of his short screenplays, TELL ME. The next year, she directed, “The Happiest Couple” for Beverly Regency Productions. These projects were among many short films, Linda has had in film festivals during the last twenty years, many of which she was the writer/director.
