Denise Lamoureux’s journey as a successful entrepreneur and helping others reach their potential is inspiring. For 26 years, she ran a successful restaurant in Fairfield, Connecticut. Denise became interested in eastern medicine as she sought to heal her own anxiety and addiction. During this personal journey where she sought answers, she founded a wellness center called Finding Feathers, attracting eastern practitioners from around the world. Not only did it serve as a transformative space for Denise, it became a welcoming space for the community. Along the way, she began studying Western brain science and trauma from leading practitioners including Dr. Gabor Mate, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and Dr. Peter Levine. Her education and knowledge in both western and eastern medicine created the Colette Technique for Core Trauma Healing. The Colette Technique helps people find freedom from long term ailments including anxiety, addiction, physical illness, and mental health issues.
