God Interrogated (Heb. Tested) Abraham

This episode of Pneumatikos will explore God's test of Abraham.  Abraham was tested by Yahweh through love.  Anything else is worthless.  There is no teloelogical suspension of the ethical in this fertile narrative.  There is,however, a picture of firmness in Yahweh through the greatest threat in life.  Can we be trusted by Yahweh when he asks us to lean not on our own understanding?  Abraham and Isaac were both bound in love for Yahweh.  The Akeda is for those who do not really know Yaweh.
