Joshua's Defeat at Ai Was Due to Thinking in the Flesh

Joshua was called to lead the people of God in the conquest of the Land of Promise.  Joshua was an able and godly leader.  He was chosen by God because of his extraordinary character.  He was a real under shepherd of the Lord.  He did, however, at times do what you and I do.  He allowed the thinking of the flesh to becloud divine viewpoint thinking.  Ai is a picture of defeat.  You and I will experience Ai when we fail to follow the Word of God.
