Garrick & Leesah's Relationship Cafe is brining a much needed topic to the platform, The Stigma of Mental Health in the Black Community, with Candace Coleman, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Within the black community there is a negative connotation seeking professional help for conditions such as depression and other conditions. Many in the community resort to self-medicating or isolation in an attempt to resolve issues themselves.

It's time for us to bring these conversations from the dark into the light. It's time for us to empower ourselves, lift our voices and seek help for our own issues!
