Sam Anderson, an independent artist known professionally as Oh Sammy, is an American singer, songwriter, and multi faceted trained musician. Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga he has spent most of his career playing in the Southern United States. His music is in the pop genre with undertones of dance and R&B. Writing with deep lyrics and emotion he began his career as a successful ghost writer for many artists and quickly moved on to writing, performing, and recording his own original music. Known for his versatility and dark lyricism, his music explores escapism, romance, and mental health awareness. His latest release Calls Me Friend was produced by the Grammy award nominated Brandon Blue Hamilton and mastered by multi Grammy award winning Randy Merrill. OH Sammy has also worked with a vast array of talent in the music industry such as Lee M. Rouse, Dylan Rush on Oh Sammy’s song Bad For You and Aaron Pace on Oh Sammy’s popular song Runaway. His newest project he has worked with the legendary and talented Cremaine Booker, known as That Cello Guy. Cremaine Booker brought the players of strings section from the Nashville Philarmonic Orchestra together while also composing the score to play on Oh Sammy’s next song to release called Feel. Sam Anderson has been part of many philanthropic endeavors that have raised millions in proceeds for Cancer patients, Crohns & Colitis Foundation and Addiction Crisis. His personal platforms are supporting animal rescue and mental health awareness.
