MAGANDANG ITIM is beautiful black in Tagalog. Magandang Itim represents an entire celebration of what it means to be ITIM. Itim is the sum of all things because all colors can be found within the color Black and that is Beautiful! Magandang Itim is more than a tagline of AFROFILIPINA. It is the educational and entertainment component of the AFROFILIPINA brand. We have monthly zoom classes and and workshops with AfroFilipina that are open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Filipino diaspora, history, beauty, identity and entertainment.
MAGANDANG ITIM also provides music and film production. We are excited to launch MAGANDANG ITIM brand clothing in FALL 2022.
