Woman Faked Her Death To Avoid Paying Off $364.00 Debt!

Indonesian woman went viral on social media after she reportedly faked her death and uploaded images of herself as a corpse as proof to avoid debt.

Maya Gunawan described her experience lending money to Liza Gewi after meeting her through an online group in a Facebook post. She decided to lend her $364 despite the fact that they had never met in person, and Gunawan conducted a background check by asking Gewi’s friends about her character. They responded that there were no issues to be concerned about. The loan was due on November 20, but Gewi requested an extension until December 6. Gewi did not pay her debt after the deadline passed.
