It's Jazz Appreciation Month, and as a longtime music writer I'm always fascinated by how music-making is treated on film. I'll be talking about how jazz music and jazz artists are presented in films old and new with a very special guest, producer Brian Michel Bacchus, whose impressive credits include Jimmy Heath, Norah Jones, Gregory Porter, and many others.
