Special Guest: Actor Algee Smith from Judas and The Black Messiah movie

Actor, singer and songwriter can currently be seen as a series regular on HBO award winning series “Euphoria” opposite Zendaya, and can next be seen in Warner Brothers’ JUDUS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH. Smith just wrapped production on MOTHER/ANDROID as the male lead opposite Chloe Grace Moretz from BATMAN scribe Mattson Tomlin, and produced by Matt Reeves.

Smith was praised for his work in the feature film THE HATE U GIVE, as well as his role in the critically acclaimed Annapurna Pictures’ film DETROIT, from Academy Award winning director Kathryn Bigelow. His performance earned him a NAACP best Actor Nomination. Detroit represents the union of Algee’s two sides. Not only did Algee star in the film, but his original song “Grow,” is featured on the official soundtrack album. Smith also starred in BET/Viacom’s highest rated miniseries “New Edition.” He played the role of ‘Ralph Tresvant.’
