J Eric Gentry and Lisa Egan- Carrying a Message of Recovery

Kleen is a music ensemble whose core is singer/songwriter Eric Gentry and singer Lisa Egan.  They have been making music that focuses on issues of recovery since 2006.  While many songs have been written about getting clean & sober, there are very few depictions--in any artistic venue--of what it is like to live with and recover from the disease of addiction.  Kleen's new album is 14 songs constellated around this intent.  For "earth-poeple" this album provides a voyeur's-eye view into the life of the person you may know who is in recovery--what it might be like for them living each day with this affliction.  For those in recovery, this CD has been described as a "meeting in songs."  It intends to capture both the pain  and struggle of living with this disease while, simultaneously, celebrating the miracle of recovery.  The songs are honestly written and sung.  These songs will stir even the most calcified of hearts.
