Natalie Sist Talks Live With Astrologer Linda Moonrabbit Zlotnick

Linda "Moonrabbit" Zlotnick & her twin sister were born in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

1972 She graduated with a BA in English from the University of MN. After doing her first astrological consultations in college, she began seriously studying astrology.

1977 she completed a training course with Zipporah Dobyns through her Los Angeles school, Community Church of Religious Science.

1981-1987 She began her full-time practice as a professional astrologer, working as “in-house” astrologer for Sunsight Books.

2005 she began her study of astrological death charts, which she went on to use in her work with clients.

Linda says that Astrology finds meaning in cosmic patterns, for everything is connected and we are part of the world and solar system we live in. Astrology does not cause events to happen but rather hills up a mirror so we can see them more clearly.

A longtime lesbian feminist, she identifies as a spiritual seeker, a Jew, a motherless daughter, and a twinless twin. She and her wife have two grown children and live in St. Paul.

In her book, Star Sisters: An Astrologer’s Memoir of Twin Loss, Linda recounts the remarkable and gripping story of how as a professional astrologer she dealt with the illness and death of her identical twin sister, Lou Ann.

Linda and Lou Ann shared everything growing up including a special twin ESP. After college, they both came out as lesbian and went on to work in healing professions. Their relationship, like that of most twins, involved sibling rivalry, covert competition, and unconditional love, and when Lou Ann was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at age fifty-six, both their lives turned upside down.

With the help of astrology, dreams, and healers, Linda found meaning in her own loss, as well as a way to help others live after suffering overwhelming grief.
