Part of celebrating Christmas in the Victorian Era was often involved gathering around a fire to share ghost stories! The frigid temperatures and long nights that mark the Christmas season were once considered the best conditions to share grim stories. To honor that tradition, we are going to bring you abridged versions of two of the ghastly tales from Christmases past: The Kit-Bag by Algernon Blackwood published in 1908, and The Signal-Man by Charles Dickens published in 1866.
Join Beth & Chris of Haunts of Richmond as they share these tales (and a little holiday cheer)!
