We have spent a lot of time talking about apparitions, disembodied footsteps, and phantom whispers. These are usually tied back to a person who would have some reason to haunt a location after their time on the mortal coil has passed, but not every haunting is tied to the spirit of an individual from generations past.

Perhaps you have heard tales of paintings that have a “presence” beyond the paint on canvas? Or maybe the horrifying nightmares that started after someone brought home a beautiful trinket from the antique dealer? Do these objects have a life of their own, or might they be cursed?
