Lisa Hooks is a singer/songwriter whose passion is to sing and write. Hailing all the way from her hometown Compton, California Lisa Hooks started singing at age 2, and has been involved professionally in this music industry since age 17. She understands what hard-work, dedication and loyalty takes. Her lyrics has been said to bring true emotion out of the listener reminding them of something they've been through. She loves listening to the likes of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige, but is often compared vocally to Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Keisha Cole. Her music comes from her love for rhythmic bass, drums, guitars, and piano & strings. Lisa Hooks is currently mixing a few singles with intent on a developing a fan-base and eventually releasing an album. She is the CEO of her Got Hooks Entertainment company and seeks to build that company by her own team's work. Eventually, seeking a major distribution deal and or record deal. She will be recording a few new hits and consistently writes as new ideas surface. Her writing goes hand in hand with her as a person she is loyal, a good person, and true to herself.
