SDG 90 The Spirit Controlled Life

Galatians 5:19-23

This message is the ninth and final in the Fruit of the Spirit Series.

And it’s actually a lesson on how to walk in The Spirit and not in the flesh! (Romans 8:1 KJV)

Now this requires a Spirit Controlled life, so we’ll look at the Works of the Flesh and The Fruit of the Spirit and see how The Law is truly the Standard in any Spirit Controlled Life. 

However the Law must be understood from the position of Liberty and not License or Legalism for this to be accomplished.  Hence the law must be viewed as our friend and not from either the perspective of license or legalism as so many Christians do!

Then we’ll see that The Spirit Controlled Life is our Strength and how this walk Commences with an act of our will, how The Holy Spirit Circumferences our walk, and how our walk Continues only by trusting and obeying.

And finally we’ll see that Satisfaction is the fruit of a Spirit Controlled Life as we glorify our King and work with Him to set the captives free!
