SDG 261 The New Man and The Concept of Putting Off & On

Ephesians 4:17 - 5:20

The term "new man" is a well worn phrase that many from the theosophists to the new agers embrace. So when a Christian hears that term "The New Man" a knee-jerk reaction may be one of concern and with good reason. For example Madame Blavatsky was the inspiration for Hitler's Aryan nation and then we have the star people of the New Age movement and Ascension.  The Mason's embrace the concept of "on becoming" or every evolving into the new man. And then let's not forget the ascended masters.

Straight, plain and simple Lucifer's all over this one, but that's only because he doesn't have any original material.  

All he can do is copy God or as Protestant reformer Martin Luther said...Ape God, in other words imitate Him!.

Now I say this because of what Paul wrote to the Ephesians.

Ephesians 4:22-24 KJVS

[22] That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; [23] And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; [24] And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

So God coined the term "The New Man" not Lucifer!
