1 John 4:17
This passage is very concise and a greater truth has never ever been told in fewer words and it involves our Identification with Christ. See 1 John, 4:17, “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment…” NO GREATER TRUTH has been said in fewer words.... “…because as He is, so are we in this world.”
The last part of that verse is what we're going to focus on today. “As He (Jesus) is… so are we in this world.” This is known as the doctrine of our identification with Jesus Christ.
In each and every Christian Jesus is supposed to live, walk, talk, breathe, and act in the flesh, but does He? “As He is so are we.”
