A Chat in the Garden with Monique A. J. Smith

Nathalie Carter was announced as Yale's new Sr. Associate AD for Fan Engagement in May of 2019.

Carter came to New Haven after serving as Colgate's Associate Athletic Director for Marketing & Promotions and will handle all internal and external marketing objectives. She will also oversee the ticket office and have sport supervision.

Nationally, she is heavily involved with Women Leaders in College Sports. She also is an NCAA Facilitation Workshop Leader.

She began at Colgate as compliance and event operations manager before moving into marketing. She joined the Raiders after serving as an intern for the Georgia Soccer Association. 

Prior to her work with the soccer association, Carter worked at Fox Sports Network/SportSouth as an assistant ticket manager and administrator. She organized and maintained the marketing inventory while serving as a sales rep for NBA, NHL, MLB & SEC tickets.

A 2008 graduate of Georgia State University, Carter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications while playing four seasons for the women's soccer team. She earned her master's degree in sports administration from Tiffin University in 2013.
