Jessica R. Murfree, Ph.D., a member of The Sport Ecology Group, is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Division of Sport Management and ACES Fellow at Texas A&M University where she researches the effects of climate change on sport. Her specific research interests are the social and legal implications of extreme weather climate risks, and environmental injustices faced by minoritized groups in sport and recreation. Dr. Murfree also serves as a research contributor for Divers for Climate Global Community Group.
