Toni-Ann Derby is Assistant Director, Championships, Sport Operations and Governance at the West Coast Conference (WCC). In her role, she serves as sport administrator for Rowing, Tournament Manager for Beach Volleyball, manages various WCC championships’ operations, and assisted in the planning of the 2021 NCAA Division I Women’s College Cup, hosted by the WCC. She also assists the Commissioner in the league's Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Initiative. Derby serves as the primary liaison for the league’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Game Managers, Athletics Diversity & Inclusion Designee Ad Hoc Group, Equity Diversity & Inclusion Student-Athlete (EDI) Ad Hoc Committee, and secondary liaison to the EDI Committee.
For the 2020-21 season, while at the WCC, Derby served part-time as an independent consultant, Championship Coordinator for the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC). She managed the operation and coordination of all GCAC championships and coordinated the conference’s Women’s Empowerment Symposium.
Orginally from Kingston, Jamaica, Derby is a 2014 graduate of Pace University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing. She was recently accepted into Florida International University, where she will pursue her Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Sport Management.
