Mikaela Adolphus, she they, is a UC Davis Alumna class of 2020, with two degrees in Sociology and African and African American Studies. Mikaela competed on the UC Davis track team as a long sprinter for five years and was Women’s captain for two of those five years. She is currently the Partner Marketing Manager at Five9, a tech company in Northern California. Mikaela is also a DE&I advocate and leader at Five9 who leads the BlatinX, Dialed in Crew, and Pride @ Five9 employee resource groups.
She also is the Executive Director of the Coalition for African Diaspora Student-Athletes, CADSA. CADSA is a non-profit committed to enhancing the Black student-athlete experience throughout their collegiate career. CADSA advocates for social and academic upward mobility by fostering connections, supporting mental health, professional development, and access to resources. CADSA ensures that Black student-athletes are welcomed, supported, and heard, while enhancing the overall student-athlete experience.
Mikaela is a California native who relocated to Houston, Texas where she enjoys spending her time with her dog Chance, gardening, and powerlifting.
