Tabia Pope, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is a speaker and author on brain health, sports concussion, business and practice management, health communications and social impact branding. She is the author of Align Your Brand with Social Impact: The 5-Step Process to Massive Growth and Sustainability. Her article, Brain Health Prehab was in the 7th issue of Significance in Athletics and Sports Magazine. 

Her upcoming book, The Head to Speech® Playbook explores the proven strategies, interprofessional collaborative practices and solutions she's developed as President & CEO of Head to Speech, Inc. Head to Speech is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational, scientific and charitable initiatives for athlete brain health, sports concussions, and their effects on cognitive-communication skills. 

Dr. Pope’s research explored the role of speech-language pathologists in academic concussion management and the effects on cognitive-communication skills in African-American collegiate football players. She was a Black Men’s Brain Health Conference Emerging Scholar during NFL Super Bowl week.

She is Clinical Instructor of Speech-Language Pathology at UDC and serves on the Leadership Council for Sports Philanthropy Network's DC Chapter.
