The True Tabernacle

And begining at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded to them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself.                                                                                                                                                                                        -Luke 24:27                             

We continue our study of the Tabernacle as a shadow and type of heavenly things. Jesus, Himself, made it clear to His followers that He was, in fact, the subject matter of "these heavenly things."  Every detail that Jesus accomplished to restore our relationship with God can be discovered in the particulars of the wilderness tabernacle.

On Mount Sinai, Moses received detailed instructions for building a meeting place for God and His people.  This Tabernacle was a place of worship that involved specific protocols and procedures. 
These detailed instruction would describe the work of Jesus Christ (to restore our relationship with God, the Father). 

We shall see the framework of the Old Testament Tabernacle sanctuary reveals God’s effort to draw His people to Himself through a system of sacrifices - specifically to bring salvation.
