BAFF is committed to keeping the African American community informed about new LGBTQ films along with the artists and filmmakers that serve our community both locally and nationally. Black Alphabet Film Festival (BAFF) symbolizes the unity and affirming of diversity in gender and sexual expression within the Black Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer or Questioning (LGBTQ) community. The organization’s mission is to empower the community by promoting, nurturing and celebrating the stories of Black LGBTQ-identified people through the art of film.
