CHARLOTTE VIEW 2011 -College and Internship with Ray Atkinson

Every Monday at 11:30 am Charlotte View is ON the air. In this Episode you can listen to Ray Atkinson, a 20 year old Charlottean, raised in Kannapolis. He's entering his junior year at UNC Charlotte, majoring in geography with an urban studies minor. He desires to become an urban transportation planner. He has an internship with a geography professor at UNC Charlotte and an internship with the Charlotte Department of Transportation. At college, he serves as a senator, president of the geography club, secretary of the cyclists club, public relations for earth club, and co-founder of the green alliance. He is a member of the University Honors Program, Golden Key International Honour Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals, NC Chapter of the American Planning Association and Gamma Theta Upsilon (geography honors society). His hobbies includes: bicycling, running, swimming, hiking, networking, and hanging out with friends and family.
