In Chinese medicine, gynecology and  obstetrics have a long history, and some of the earliest recordings are over three thousand years old. Diagnosis is determined using pulse and tongue, in addition to how a women is feeling, and the symptoms that she is experiencing.  Each acupuncture treatment and herbs are prescribed, based on those present symptoms and are adjusted as the patient feels better.  Today the medicine is used for a variety of issues from:  Headaches, menopausal symptoms, hypertension, PMS, controlling menstrual flow, regulating menstrual cycles,  bleeding between periods, urination issues, dizziness,  depression, mood swings, anxiety, infertility,  miscarriage, morning sickness,  back pain during pregnancy as well as other health related issues.
