Meet Katy Doherty-Jewelry Designer

Katy is a professional jewelry designer & she handcrafts all her own jewelry. She has  been in business for four years & currently manages twelve accounts across the country. She is passionate about nurturing all of her relationships with her  accounts so they receive the best customer service & feel part of the KD Custom Jewelry family! Her jewelry line is inspired by peace & compassion, socially conscious & always has a unique cutting edge look! She hand selects all gemstones which are of the highest quality. She truly believes by using high quality gemstones in designs the wearer benefits from all of the stones healing properties. She does her best to source metal components from made in America companies. Each piece I make has slight variations from every other piece giving my customers a one-of -kind piece of art.

 

She is passionate about giving back to local and global communities. She donates 10% of all of her profit to various nonprofit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, The Humane Society, Greenpeace, Surfrider & the Boys and Girls Club. Her philosophy is to develop socially conscious jewelry that people can feel good about wearing knowing by their purchase they have helped to make the world a better place.This socially conscious  philosophy sets her apart from other jewelry designers.
