In 1995, Virginia founded Translations Unlimited South America (TUSA), which till this day provides translations services from English to Spanish, European, Asian and other South American languages, as well as writing, editing and translating articles for specialized magazines in the health, environmental, entertainment and telecommunications industry, including news agencies, to name a few, throughout Southern California and nationwide.
Virginia Earl was born in Uruguay & was raised in a bilingual home. She attended The British Schools in Montevideo where she received a bilingual education from kindergarten all the way through high-school. She graduated from the University of Maryland, where she received a degree in journalism.
She has lived in Europe, South America and traveled as far as Asia and the Amazon. She is a native Spanish speaker and enjoys writing and editing, and translating. She has worked for major publishing companies across the country.
Virginia is a published journalist & has written articles for several trade journals. Her professional background includes working as a bilingual writer, editor and translator for publications in industries.
One of her claims to fame is translating the subtitles from English into Portuguese for the first Shrek movie.
