Cecilia Burch is a writer and a Master Gardener, with over 25 years’ experience managing nonprofit organizations. Her nonprofit experience ranges from program management to volunteer management to administration. She freelances as an organizational resource by helping others start up nonprofits, writing grants, proposals and business plans and providing clear and compelling proofreading and copy editing. As an experienced gardener she is also a resource for gardening information and the beauty and inspiration provided by nature.
She is on the Advisory Council for GSFE (Global Society for Female Executives), a nonprofit networking and education organization, is a founding member of Leave No Woman Behind, a nonprofit women’s empowerment and fitness organization and volunteers for the Riverside County Department of Waste Resources. She consults with and empowers other local nonprofits.
Cecilia holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in public health. She is a third-generation native Californian and currently makes her home in Lake Elsinore near water – the lake - and the Santa Ana mountains with her son, daughter-in-law, three young men who call her Grandma, a lovely garden full of flowers, native plants, herbs and vegetables, and assorted cats.
