Pendekar Twitchell has extensive experience in Pencak Silat, Jeet Kune Do, Boxing, Muay Thai, JuJitsu, Capoiera, and Filipino Martial Arts. He was a 1991 Golden Gloves Champion (147 lb. division), a gold medalist in the Utah Summer Games, and a featured boxer on Dave Fox's "Sports Den" on KUTV Channel 2.

Pendekar Twitchell is the founder of Liahona Warrior Arts International, located in Sacramento, California, and his teachers include Dan Inosanto and Burton Richardson.
