S.O.U.L. Class 547 In Discussion With Filmmaker Music Producer Irene Orleansky

B'H/Blessed is Our Creator!!! Shalom/Peace and Brocha/Blessing upon the Human Family Experience!!! With Creator's Help our next broadcast will take place on 12/14/15 starting at 6:00 PM Tel Aviv, Israel Time corresponding to 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time live from Turtle Island=AKA=USA=Unifying Souls Actually. Our program will focus on being in discussion with Filmmaker/Music Producer Irene Orleansky on her courageous effort to share the story on film concerning Bal Ej in Amharic, the descendants of Beta Israel (Falasha) who migrated to the North Shewa region of Ethiopia from Gondar hundreds of years ago. Discrimination and persecutions forced the Jews of North Shewa to act outwardly as Christians and follow Judaic customs in secrecy. Before starting work on the film, Orleansky made a music cd of Jewish communities in Asia and Africa (10 communities in 7 countries). Time allowing, during our broadcast she will talk about other little known Jewish communities in the world. Painfully, since her efforts to make this film, almost every month she has heard about crimes against the community members, such as murders or property damage. However, Irene will dialogue, as well, concerning the hopes/expectations of the Beta Israel descendants and the joy they have from living according to their traditions.
