For a season in my life, I was in the group of individuals who were seeking prosperity by "naming and claiming" and getting frustrated with God because noting was happening.  When God speaks of "prospering us", it speaks to His desire to excel us beyond normalcy and the basic capacities of life.  God has given us everything we need to prosper and excel as it states in Philippians 4:19 which reads, "And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus".
