My name is Patrice L. Lewis and I am Community Builder in the City of Vallejo, Ca. I am emailing you today becasue three local community organizations, I am affiliated with, including: Vallejo Youth Together, Vallejo NAACP #1081, and Iota Phi Theta Betaupsilon have organized a Community March & Step Show in support of #nonviolence. The event will take place on August 29th, 2015 in North Vallejo, Ca. The March will begin at 245 Holly Street 94589 at 10am, line up will begin at 915am. The March will go from Holly Street to Tuolumne Street then proceed onto BW Williams Drive turning into Mini Drive, ending at The Continentals of Omega Boys & Girls Club located at 555 Corcoran Drive. Next, doors will open at the club, for the Step show at 1230p with the show starting at 1p. The show will feature speeches and spoken word from youth and young adults, as well as, family members, whose lives have been affected by violence within our Community on the topic of #nonviolence. The show will also feature step performances by youth of the Community and young adult representatives of local fraternities and sororities. There will also be guest artists performing at the conclusion of the show. This entire event is absolutely free to the Community and everyone is welcome to come and join us in the City of Vallejo on August 29th. See you at the March!
