Tequila Corinthian McClinton was born in Berkeley, Ca and raised in North Oakland, CA.  She is the definition of unique.  A neosoul singer with a distinguished rap background and history that blends“Neosoul/Hip Hop.” Tequila was exposed to music and performing at an early age through her father’s church. Eventually hosting her own talk show and participating in a number of local bands and musical groups. A magnet on the playground for her musical talents as the entertainment bug bite her early in life.  While in grade school, it was commonplace for Tequila to be hosting a number of classmates to a freestyle beat-box session or a freestyle rap. She was born to Doris and Willie McClinton. Both born in the south. Her parents relocated to Oakland, CA seeking a better life for their family. Tequila’s older sister was a budding gospel singer until her untimely death from a dreaded disease Lupus. A younger sister is battling the disease presently. She has been entertaining fans for many years from the church to sold out arenas. Tequila past accomplishments includes sharing the stage with the likes of Busta Rhymes, Too Short, Tech9ne, Pitbull, Mike Marshall, Rankin Scroo, Conscious Daughters, DJ King Assassin, Mopreme Shakur, Andre Nickatina, and Turf Talk. Tequila is an industry force to be reckoned with because of her unique style. She is a triple threat as far as singing, writing, and rapping. Tequila is Silky, Sassy and her flow is unlike anyone in the industry today. Her single "TEQUILA" features Bay Area legend Mike Marshall formerly of Timex Social Club (Rumors), and The Luniz (I Got Five On It) fame.
