Having attended Full Sail University for Recording Arts and Music Business, he can also play up to 4 instruments which in bass guitar, electric guitar, piano and percussions. J-Pilot has a wide spectrum of influences from music genres such as Hip-Hop, Salsa, Rock, Rnb, and Country. His artist influencers are Curtis Mayfield, Gene Page, Barry White, Willie Hutch, Quincy Jones, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, Megadeth and DIO. Having worked with established acts such as Rick Ross, T.I., Wale, Rah Digga, Travis Porter, Mitchellel of Grand Hustle and Bone Crusher he continues to push forward in his pursuit of the music industry. Jpilot has been notarized in major music blogs such as Complex Magazine, Hip Hop DX, Hip Hop Wired, Hip Hop Weekly and many more. Learning how to play various instruments has given him the ability to capture the raw sound that can't be compared to sampling from an old record. J-Pilot has been surrounded by music his whole life and within his sound you can hear the passion and dedication he puts into his craft.
