NyAirWaves Radio! Exclusive Interview w/ Artist Bartee Yasharahla aka Yah'Love

Bartee Yasharahla (formally known as Yah'Love) was born in Orange City FL on Feb. 1st, 1986. Born in the hood, at a young age he began to get involved with the wrong crowd, and eventually… selling drugs.

But one bright spot in his life was attending church. His mother required Yah’Love and his siblings to attend Sunday school Every Sunday; no excuses whatsoever. In addition to his mother’s efforts, his best friends talked him into attend church at New Life Bible Church.

“I had always done music, but God had spoken to me one day while we visited Trinity Church and the Holy Spirit hit me like a ton of bricks! I have been back and forth in my walk with God, and my music reflects everything I go through in my life. I believe God talks to me through my music and he still does to this day. I joined the Marine Corp right after High School then went to Iraq to serve. By the grace of God, I came home from the war. While servicing overseas, I almost died from an I.E.D. But thanks to the grace of God it did not detonate. I got in some trouble for some things, served some time in the brig; I rededicated my life to God again. That is what my music is based on now and there’s no turning back.”

In November 2013 Bartee Yasharahla(formerly known as Yah’Love) became a member of the tour Angie BEE Presents and was a minister during concerts and in juvenile detention centers as the tour travels. In January 2014, He was featured on the “I 

Have A Dream” song and music video produced by Freedom Now Movement. This is his first compilation project on the TOUR with G-Rane and Bartee Yasharahla performing this song live during concert TOUR stops.
