A 'Drug' is any type of medicine or chemical that when inhaled, snorted, injected, smoked, consumed, absorbed via patch on the skin changes or dissolved under the tongue can cause a physiological and often psychological change in the body of the user.
There are legal drugs which are referred to as 'licit drugs. This type of drug can be bought over the counter or from a health professional. Another type of drug is the illegal drug; referred to as 'illicit or street' drugs which can be bought from street corners and other illegal avenues. There are 3 types of illegal drugs which are depressants, stimulants or hallucinogens.
Drug use is a major problem for people from all walks of life which can lead to addiction.The disease of addiction is extremely complex.
