This is a 'coined phrase' that many of us have heard throughout our lives. What is so Interesting is that this actual phrase “you reap what you sow” is not recorded in the bible.
In essence, this phrase means that in your life, whatever you do today will have consequences or results tomorrow.
Although it is not quoted exactly like this in the Bible; this principle says; 'That if we obey (sow) God’s commandments, then we are sure of a reward –Eternal life (reap)..'
On the other hand; if we choose (sow) to live in ways that are contrary to the will of God, then we’ve decided to choose death over life – Eternal destruction (reap).
What the Bible does say concerning 'Reaping and Sowing' is found in the book of Galatians 6th chapter and the 7th verse: : '
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
This message of Paul reminds us that whatever we do (sow) has consequences or rewards (reap).
Join us today as we discuss this principle a little more in detail. Prayerfully it will help you on your journey of a life of abundance. A promise the Lord made to us if we sow in a manner that pleases Him.
