Ryan's journey to golf is an interesting one. Growing up in South Charleston, West Virginia, he was primarily a baseball player and played sports in a highly competitive environment. However, an injury during his second year of college led him to pick up a golf club for the first time. And the rest, as they say, is history. Ryan's passion for golf grew as he focused on his studies and his game. He earned both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Public Administration with minors in Economics, Sociology, and Biology. He then went on to work as Director of Golf Operations for Boca Raton Resort & Club before joining the Shangri-La team as PGA Director of Golf.
