It was brief but that was my start in playing in a live band. Not long after that I got a call from my friend Larry Batiste, about a gig inLas Vegas and to join an "All-Starr" band featuring Choclet from Graham Central Station. Awesome band!! From there I bumped around Oakland, needed money so got a 9-5 job and just tried to perfect a style and sound I could call my own. Mission accomplished. More recently I have recorded several Cd's and worked with several local musicians. I am currently the Director of a non-profit, "Safe Harbor Project" where I use music as stress prevention by, producing and promoting live music events in Sonoma County. I am also leading two bands, "Urban Sacred" which is more neo-soul/jazz flavor and "The Jimi Coochy Show" which whichBorn and raised in East Oakland CA.
