Formerly known as Frankie and The Spindles, The Spindles are one of Baltimore’s premier musical groups, bringing classic Rhythm and Blues vocal styling to their audiences. The Spindles were recording artists at Philadelphia International Records under the direction of Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, who helped define “The Sound of Philadelphia.” The Spindles recorded songs such as My Girl Is Made Of Candy, Count To Ten, Maybe Tomorrow, and Making Up Time. The Spindles have headlined shows and shared the stage with such legendary greats as The Temptations, The O’Jays, The Mighty Dells, The Whispers, The Chi-Lites, and Al Green.
