Senator Barbara Robinson has overcome many challenges in her life. She received her undergraduate degree 18 years after her journey began. Through perseverance and determination, Senator Robinson eventually earned several graduate degrees. She was the first woman and the first African American to hold the positions of deputy administrator of the District Court, the Supreme Bench and the Circuit Court of Baltimore.
