The Power of the Resurrection Defines Christianity

Resurrection Sunday is Christianity's defining moment. Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. Matthew 28:6 says, "He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay." And because of His death, burial, and resurrection, Christians are free from the penalty of sin, which is death, and we have the promise and hope of eternal life. He is risen, He is risen indeed!
