"....It is more blessed to give than to receive", according to Apostle Paul, in Acts 20:35, who quoted our Lord, Jesus Christ. Years ago, I did not understand its true meaning. Recently, however, I witnessed this Scripture in action.
In August, I traveled to the Dominican Republic, the other half of the island next to Haiti, in Eastern Caribbean Yield to the King Ministry visited Casa Martina, a girls orphanage. Their mission is to offer a place of safety for children. Abandoned girls live in the orphanage from ages three to 23. They also get to attend school for free. I saw the mighty hand of God at work in their lives. I heard testimonials about the older young ladies who grew up in the orphanage and chose to remain to teach and pour into the lives of the younger children.
