The God of Our Salvation

The Lord God is the source of our salvation. Christians are delivered and redeemed from the penalty of sin and its consequences which are death and separation from God. Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice through His death. He conquered death by rising from the dead. Christ Jesus is the personification of salvation.

Isaiah 12:2 (NKJV) says, "Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation."
