"Law enforcement and corrections can be challenging and dangerous work, but also fulfilling and rewarding if done with integrity. Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and security of person. Those rights deserve protection.

Every day, police officers risk their own safety to apprehend criminals who disregard human rights. Inmates who are incarcerated while awaiting trial and after sentencing are guarded by corrections officers, who also risk their own safety in performance of their duties.

All people must be presumed innocent until proved guilty in courts of law. Police officers must avoid using excessive force during arrests and interrogation. After sentencing, inmates have human rights that must be respected and protected by corrections officers. The main focus of incarceration should be rehabilitation. Human rights do not end at the prison gates, but every inmate has the right to a humane incarceration."

Mosley interviews current and former law enforcement and corrections officers and justice group representatives as well as former inmates to present issues these parties encounter, determined to maintain his/her integrity despite challenges.
