Katherine Hine and guests from the anti-psychiatry community speak at 3 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, October 15, 2014, on the daytime call-in broadcast, "Human Rights Demand." Speakers and guests should call to speak on air at (347)857-3293 or listen by computer. Part I of this show broadcast on October 8, 2014, and is archived at the following link: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/humanrightsdemand/2014/10/08/forced-drugging--is-it-ever-justified
Those who oppose forced drugging will speak from 3 p.m. until 4:15 p.m., after which time the show will be open for comments and questions from the audience until 5 p.m. You are invited to call and give opinions for or against AOT programs (subsistence assistance plus mandated psychiatric treatment), involuntary commitment in mental hospitals, incarceration of mentally ill Americans, and other matters regarding enforced psychiatric treatment and drugging. Is it ever justified? Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill (AIMI) members believe that AOT programs are warranted for many persons with severe mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, high levels of PTSD, particularly those who revolve in and out of jails and prisons, hospitals, and sick people who experience long-term homelessness.
