A Georgia prisoner for 46 years  - from 1968 to 2013, Strozier speaks about re-entry opportunities and challenges and reveals what life was like growing up and nearly growing old in prison. He was incarcerated from age 10 to his mid-50s. Johnny's stories are tragic, sometimes darkly humorous, and always inspirational as he challenges us to think right and act right so that our lives will go right.

He was initially arrested at age 6, when he and friends broke into an Atlanta warehouse to steal cigarettes for family members and candy for themselves. He was sentenced to juvenile detention at age 10 and transferred to an adult facility at age 16. His sentence was lengthened to 90 years after cutting a prison guard. Strozier was moved to death row, but the guard lived and so did he. Strozier spent 15 years in solitary confinement. Strozier's warden once told him he would never exit prison alive. But Johnny did get paroled because he changed, and so can all of us change to realize our dreams.
