Last week we talked about friendly fire and began an ongoing segment for now called, "Ask a non-believer." We have gotten some positive feedback from the new segment so we will continue tonight to pose three questions from my friend Glenn. Also, on TSL we are working to change the way we refer to others and in the weeks and months to come, we will continue to challenge the old ways of reaching others. After last week talking about friendly fire, it seemed like some did not listen. I did not expect that one radio show would change others hearts but perhaps my vision will take longer. Rather than doing a part two to last weeks show we will touch on the point again and include it in this weeks topic, "What's in the box?" Products come in all different shapes of boxes and they can vary as much as the things they contain. When it comes to the different type of people in the world, what boxes are we all in? Last week we tried to use the terms TB for a true believer and NB for a non-believer but we realize there are other boxes. One worth mentioning is the religious believer or RB for short. Of course, they are not all in the same box but we are trying to break it down for easy reference. So, a religious believer relies mostly on the tenants of their particular religion which essentially is works based. Do we even want to stay in the box at all? As true believers are we content to stay in the box which stunts our growth or as a plant that may start in a small pot but when it grows is exchanged to a larger pot? The goal is to be planted in the ground so that we can grow and reach out more to others as we stay connected to the vine of Christ. Only in this way can we be effective in the world. So, the question is not just a catchy movie line but for we are asking you, "What's in the box?" dial 1-(319)-527-6092 "1"
